NBCUniversal is a world leader in entertainment. The Digital Distribution (DD) team serves all the major networks and the distribution partners who offer their content to the public. The growth in digital technologies and new platforms (iTunes, Chromecast, Amazon Instant Video) means the DD team now has to manage massive amounts of assets and information to support their networks and partners.

OVERVIEW:
It is now possible to traffic and serve entertainment assets digitally, without the need for physical media. To excel as a leader in emerging technologies NBCUniversal DD was looking to improve service to its networks and partners while reducing costs. They also wanted a better way to promote initiatives and offers to their distribution partners.

SOLUTION:
A fully customized asset management and marketing extranet we call “Digital TV Tools” (DTV). This intuitive and powerful system is the conduit between NBCUniversal DD networks (AMC, Bravo, NBC, etc.) and its’ distribution partners. DTV offers scheduling and promotional information, asset trafficking and management, and much more.
